First check all your fuses under hood, and under dash. If all ok, try replacing the fuel pump relay with another . Last but not least, If you have a local parts store around, they probably have a tool loan program. Check it out and pick yourself up a fuel pressure guage. Find the schrader valve on the fuel rail and hook up gauage to this. Typically it looks like a Tire valve. If your vehicle doesn't have this valve, you can run it inline before or after your fuel filter. Typically your looking for around 40psi of fuel pressure. If you have no fuel pressure check for power at the connector to the fuel pump. You will need a test light for this. Good luck with your diagnosing!

First check the Fuel pressure regulator:
Put a fuel pressure gauge and make sure it is up to spec typically 40-60 psi
then you can check the fuel injectors:
You can remove the 4 of them and have them cleaned and checked, there is probably a local place that can do this for the cost of around 20-40 dollars an injector.

Have a 95 olds lasaber starts but doesnt stay running

Well put some gas in it man! No, seriously, a vehicle runs on the physics of three principles. Fuel, air and ignition or "explosion" of gases. You have eliminated two of these principles since the engine "starts" but will not stay running. Most likely because of it lacking "fuel" or the pressure thereof. Only two things to check. Fuel pump, and filter.

My truck will start but lacks power

If it is turning over it is probably fuel or plugs. chk yr fuel line to see if its pumping. chk the fuel filter for water in line, if so pump some thru line to ground and change filter. chk and clean plugs particuarly around the inside walls, wash with petrol, dry, clean sprak area, and return to engine. if engine runs but no power it c/be coil.

I got a truck that is a 1994 GMC Sierra 1500 4x4. I replaced the distributor cap rotator cup and coil. After that its still losing power worse than it was before i bought the parts. What could be wrong

ever change the fuel filter???? a weak fuel pump can also give this effect.
they can give enuff fuel to run injectors but lack volume for sustained running at speed . try fuel filter first

My Mazda Navajo seems to be leaking fuel near the engine is there a flexible fuel line that may have come loose? any suggestions

1st, replace your fuel filter, it probably is too dirty so fuel cannot enter the filter.

next, check if the fuel pump is still working. fuel pump might also be dirty.

Check fuel pressure and see if its around 30-35 psi while under load if not replace fuel pump, also the gas thats in the tank may be no good if it has sat for so long..

There is a pump pre-filter screen, and an inline filter. Are you replacing them both? If not you MUST! Also you should service your fuel filter once a year OR MORE! For your vehicle the fuel system is a return-type system. Your pump supplies a specific volume of fuel to the injectors at a high pressure. All of that fuel is not injected into the engine, and the remainder is returned to the tank by the return line. This cycle repeats at such a rate that each tank full of fuel is passed through the filter about ten times before that tank is consumed. Fuel quality and cleanliness is vital to the health of the pump, but there is another important consideration that FEW people know... That fuel pump gets really HOT! The only thing that cools it is the fuel in the tank. If you routinely run your car at 1/4 tank or below, your pump is always above the fuel level in the tank, and it gets NO COOLING! Hot pumps have a short life! Keep your fuel level above 1/2 a tank and the fuel pump life will double, or even triple! (In your case it might last 5 times longer)
