Question about Pontiac 1000
It sounds as if your battery and/or alternator has failed. If you do get it started , (by jump starting it) check the voltage at the battery, it should be around 13 1/2 to 14 volts, if not, than the alternator has most likely failed. also how old is the battery? may be time for a new one. The alternator problem will show up on the dash as a battery icon light when this happens, as well as a sometimes noisy alternator under the hood. Hope this helps!
