I own a !999 Izusu Amigo. The air conditioner, heater, and air vent is stuck on just the defrost mode. How to FIX!!

I was told that the air delivery mode door actuator is either under the dash that you can reach to. Or it is in the dash were you have to drop the dash to get to it. On the 1999 Izusu Amigo do you know which location it is????.

One or more heater & A/C (HVAC) temperature and/or air delivery mode door actuator may fail, resulting in improper temperature or air delivery. If this occurs, fault code(s) should be stored in the HVAC control module which should assist in diagnoses.

    the
blower module that is located at the bottom of the heater box, next to
the blower motor, above the panel below the glove box, has a tendancy to
go bad, possibly overheat, and melt the larger of the two connectors.
This can lead to one or all sppeds inop. the module will need to be
replaced, and th connector inspected. If the connector is melted, or
discolored, it needs to be replaced. A pigtail with wires, and
connectors, as well as the resistor, should be available at a local GMC or Chevy dealer. Good luck, and please dont forget to rate.

My heater is stuck on and blows extremely hot air at all times, harder and hotter once it has warmed and is being driven. Though, never off at any time.

it would appear that you will have to replace all items damaged during the theft attempt
as all the items are part of the dash assembly including the radio, I would consider a complete dash from the wreckers and that way you only have to hook up the wiring harness connections

1986 Chevy Nova - the defroster/heater vents stopped working. Any ideas? Before they found the found the fuel filter, they messed with the air filter. Could that be the problem?

If the air vent mode doors are vacuum operated, (though some are cable operated), they could have disconnected a vacuum line from engine. A vacuum diagram sticker should be located under the hood. The a/c hose will be listed as (HVAC hose).

Air conditioner switch is stuck in defrost position what to do

Problem is usually a stuck or faulty blend door motor under the dash.
The blend doors direct air thru the heater and ac evaporator as well as the vents.

My Defrost doesn't work

Check to see if the duct hose to the defroster vents has come loose. If air is blowing out under the dash when you have the control set to defrost, then this is likely.

You have a vacuum leak! Check the vacuum ball for cracks or missing hoses.
