Question about 1998 GMC Jimmy

My GMC Jimmy wont start

While driving my 1998 JMC jimmy the car shut off and i can not get it started anymore but i know that it is getting gas.

    98 GMC JImmy..died on the e-way,and it won't start..fuel pump is good all fuses are good,and filter is good too!!! PLEASE HELP!!!!

Do you have any spark? this could be associated with timing. but, it could also be the computer(s).

just food for thought if you did: on some vehicles, you cannot just add a stereo amps and such electronic items that demand a high burst of energy, because it will mess with the computer/wiring (grounds and draws).

Try rotating the steering wheel to different positions while trying to turn the ignition off.

SCAN IT SOUND LIKE IDLE SPEED CONTROL PROBLEM.BUT I AM LOOKING AT VACUUM LEAK AT THE INTAKE MANIFOLD BROKE VACUUM HOSE. OR FUEL INJECTORS SEALS LEAKING.

check the fuel pressure could be the regulator or pump or....

88 gmc jimmy wont start. clicks and wont turn over. push gas pedal a couple times and it starts. why?


look for a lose wire near your fuel pedal. sounds like some thing is drawing the power and you might be knocking it free when you hit the throttle.

CHECK THE FUEL PRESSURE, THE ELECTRIC FUEL PUMP MAY HAVE FAILED.
