Question about Nissan Pathfinder
We are still looking for the crank shaft sensor, and I am documenting it on Facebook, and the Nissan Facebook page! I have a lemon pathfinder.... And I want the world to know just hot horrible it is to own one.

According to my scanner, there is a crank sensor on the front of the oil pan , near the crankshaft pulley and another one on the oil pan or bellhousing facing the flexplate or flywheel...hope this helps.

SOURCE: bad crank sensor
The Crank sensor on a Cavalier 05 is located,
Left rear of the engine, the seem side of the oil filter.
Just upper of the starter motor.

The Crankshaft Position Sensor is located:
Under hood, driver side, front engine area, mounted rear of crankshaft pulley
The Knock Sensor is located: Under hood, center, front engine area, below intake manifold, mounted on block

Driver's side, just in front, on top of the transmission against the engine...
It is the bottom corner picture...will try and post a bigger view.
In the bottom corner photo, it is in the middle of the picture.
