What does trac off light mean on dash

It means the Traction control safety system has turned itself off due to a failure sensed by the control module. You must now have it tested by the dealer.

Where are the traction control senors in a 2009 chevrolet trailblazer?

The traction control uses the ABS wheel speed sensors (1 on each wheel - usually in the wheel bearing assembly). The speed sensor is for your speedometer. Do you have an ABS light on too?

91 GMC suburban speedometer not working, I change one Senors towards the rear of transmission and still the same? Is there more then one sensor on the transmission. Need help thank you.

There is only one speed sensor on the transmission.
If you replaced it and the speedo does not work, the problem could be in the speedometer.

Where is the speed sensor on a 93 jeep grand cherokee laredo?

Hi, the output speed sensor in located on the left side(drivers side)at the rear of the tranmission. The input speed sensor is located in the front of the transmiison on the left side as well, and yes both speed senors are interchangable.
Take care

Over Drive lite is blinking noise coming from transfer case I replaced the rear end about 3 weeks ago could it be the solinoid for the 4x4

the overdrive light blinks to alert u to the fact that in most cases the internal speed senors on the input and output shafts of the transmission have detected excessive slippage, in most case u will fell nothing, sometimes you can clear this by doing a fluid flush and filter change of the transmission.

2000 ford expedition emergancy brake keeps not working. I get it fixed and a couple of weeks later it isn't working again. Mechanic says t has something to do with the cable keeps coming out of it's track....

I checked for a TSB and there isn't one for this issue. I have not heard of it either. If it were mine, I just wouldn't use it. Which cable? Ay park brake or under body?

Abs light stays on

you could have a bad wheel speed sensor, you would need to bring this to a shop or dealer that can access the on board computer to see which one is bad,or look for broken wires at the wheel speed senors on each wheel.
