2003 ford taurus blows cold air out the defrost

Sounds like your hot/cold door is stuck on cold. Is the heat not hot either? If so that could be it. Perhaps your heater core. Good luck.

Is there a fuse for the air condtioner

there is a fuse for your A/C inside your kick panel.

but the issue here is not caused by a blown fuse. here are the probable causes:

1. freon - either your system lacks/leaks freon. have an A/C mechanic refill your freon and have a leak test.
2. compressor is not engaging - when you turn on the switch of your A/C, you should here a 'CLICK' sound in the engine. this means that the compressor (A/C motor) is already doing its job. have an electrician check if the wires are properly installed in your new unit

I have a 2003 ford taurus and it does not blow hot or cold air any more? How can I fix that?

when i had that problem it was a fuse that was blown. its the same fuse that releases the gear shift when you place your foot on the brake.

2001 taurus will not start.

if that fuse always blow out then you have a short circuit in your electrical lines.

Motor runs cold

by the sounds of things your head gasket might be split you could get a compression test done at most local garages if there is any problem in the test then your head gasket is most likely blown and will need replaceing, its not a small job and might cost a bit.
