Have you checked your distributor cap yet? Make sure you have alll your contact points on the cap. I am assuming you changed the plugs as well. I wasn't for sure, so if you didn't, change them. Make sure your timing belt/chain hasn't slipped on you. Make sure you have no loose wires. It is not likely, but it could be the computer. I would try to get a code. Even if you already did, it may come up different this time.

1999 durango won't start

starter?
New battery drained = something is still powered, open/short.
new ign switch and steering won't lock = something was not put together right and the ignition is staying on and draining the battery.

1999 dodge durrango died and wont start it cranks fine just wont start

It may crank fine but you are missing spark or fuel. Could be sensor of some type, timing, fuel pump. fuel filter. Did you dheck the fuses. May be a relay also.

My 1999 Dodge Durango cuts off while driving. I was told it was the crankshaft had it replaced still having the same problem. What else could it be?

hook up a real time scanner with snapshot capabilities and a fuel pressure guage that can be read from inside the vehicle, take the vehicle for a drive and have an assistant monitoe all readings, you shaould be able to narrow it down to fuel or spark or other, once you know what is quitting you can diagnose from there

This happened to me when we got our 99 Durango back from collision work. Looked like a light show at Disney. Check the ground wires on the fire wall . There are alot of them and you'll have to really look for them all but your car is doing exactly what mine did. The body shop missed 4 ground wires during the repair and it drove me nuts but once they were all back on it was fine.
