Car just shook a little the cut off acts like it wants to start but wont

Sounds like the ignition needs to be changed

sounds like you blew your engine... something probably broke inside causing it to not be able to turn over.

The power steering is electronically controlled electric motor assist system, you need the dealer to scan it for fault codes.

do you have a bad crank sensor and the injectors are not firing ?

Get the car Scanned and that will lead you to your faults.

The pump could have still went out. Spray a little starter fluid in the throttle and have some to start it. If it starts keep spaying it a little to keep it running. If it cut off, then most likely the pump or filter need to be changed. Or a fuel pump relay keeping the pump from kicking on. Usually you can open your gas cap and have someone to just turn the ignition on while you listen at the gas hole for a faint or buzzing type sound. This is letting you know the pump is kicking on.

i suspect you have a fuel pump problem and towing it shook the pump enough to run,

u have a leaking head gasket, the fan is on because there is air pockets in the cooling system caused by combustion gases leaking in, the rough run is coolant getting into the cylinders.

This was the fuel pump. Checked the fuel rail and no gas. Shook the car and it started, but shut off after a moment.
