Start your truck. take the positive side of the battery off and if the truck dies than replace you alternator. usually when your battery doesn't charge the alternator is bad and draining your battery instead of charging it like it is supposed to.

BUS Errors 60& 68. What do they Mean?

does car run now? (the other shoe drops...)
we use real scan tools not the silly key/on/off bs.
use and post real DTC errors and win....
use any real scan tool , all work in usa, for 2001.

so if it run now, is battery voltage at 13.3 to 15vdc, if not the charge system is failing, and battery died.
if it dont run is battery voltage, 12.6vdc minimum, rested,
if not charge it now. the PCM will not run right on low battery voltage at all. below 10v it goes NUTS>
are fuses all good
are the battery lugs clean? (do it its a service all cars need)

Why does my battery light come on,i just put a new battery in.i dont need the abs lights came on come and go. could this be compurt problems

The battery symbol comes on because there is a problem with the charging system ! It doesn't mean you have a bad battery ! The charging system in this vehicle is controlled by the PCM - powertrain control module ! could be a bad alternator , wiring problem or a blown fuse. An it takes special tools to test, scan tool ,digital volt ohm meter !

Car battery cant see the green eye

Means your battery needs charging. It can be that your alternator isnt working to charge it or the battery is getting old. Test it by using a multimeter to check the voltage while the car is off. Simply place positive to positive and negative to negative. It needs to read 12.2 volts or more. Then turn on the car and check again. It should now read 14 volts or more to show your alternator is charging. Anything less than 13.5 volts means the alternator is not charging and needs replacing.

Po452 and po446 on 04 chevy silverado have replaced fuel pressure sensor and reset but code po452 keep poping up

P0452 evap control pressure low, P0 446 evap vent contol circuit. Becuase you have P0452 you are dealing with a eletrical issue whether you have positive tank pressure or negative pressure, The tool for this is a volt meter.452 happens when you positive pressure and the FTP reads less than 0.1 volts. You need to jump the signal and the reference and monitor the take parameter on a scan data you should read reference voltage. Now if you dont have a scan data tool. inspect the wire for any breaks or shorting 2 thing of concern broken wire to the FTP or a ECM is needed.

My check charging system light keeps coming on. I replaced the alternator about 2 years ago, and the battery about 10 months ago. Trying to figure out the possible problem before taking it to a shop.

Check the voltage ot the battery when the light is on. Ity should be approx 13.6 volts. If its around 12 volts, the alternator isnt charging. BUT just beacause it isnt charging, doesnt mean its bad, wirng has to be verified good, and connection.

all vehicles now need the manufacturers scan tool to program remotes that way if you no longer have remotes or lost them they can remove these to prevent theft but it isnt ther car that essentially loses programming its the remote if you can change batteries soon enough you wont have this concern

The abs isnt working on my 1995 grand prix how do i check to see what side isnt properly working?

Do you mean the ABS light is ON on the dash? If so you'll need to find someone with a scan tool to plug into the car's computer. If you have an AUtoZone local they do it for free. The same goes for check engine lights. They will plug the scan tool in and tell you what the code is.
