The air filter is in the air intake box (usualy square plastic tub) under the hood. A couple of clips unsnap and the top comes off. Replace the element inside.

http://www.automanualonline.com/base/chr... (I'm not sure since I don't have too much experience with your model) but this link has some manuals.

Under the hood you will see two black plastic tubes that run from the front of the car to the engine cover (the large silver cover that says crossfire on it) grab the front of the engine cover and pull up the front will unclip then do the same for the back of the cover lift the engine cover out, the tubes may or may not come out with the cover but you will easily see where they connect to the front of the car and the engine cover turn the engine cover over and the filters are in the two black boxes at each side of the cover remove the screws change the filters (2 one on each side) replace the box covers and put the engine cover and air intake tubes back on the engine (put the cover in place and push down on it)

Air filtration system failure - crossfire 2005

USUALLY THE AIR FILTRATION SYSTEM,TO THE BEST OF MY KNOWLEDGE,IS: THE AIR FILTER,PCV VALVE,THE FUEL FILTER,THE AIR BREATHER CANISTER(I THINK THAT'S WHAT IT'S CALLED)ALL OF THESE SHOULD BE CHECKED FOR NOT WORKING PROPERLY,OR DEPENDING ON HOW MANY MILES THE CAR HAS ON IT,REPLACING THEM,THEY ALL CONTRIBUTE TO THE WAY THE AIR CAN FLOW THRU THE SYSTEM,TO KEEP IT RUNNING SMOOTH.

1995 Chevy Astro rough idle after choke goes off and engine is at full operating temperature, also no check engine light.

Inspect/replace air filter.
Fill the gas tank to above 3/4 and add Lucas FUELSYSTEM CLEANER.
Ran on the highway for 10+ miles.

Monitor is the rough idle condition is getting worst on below 1/4 tank.
Change fuel filter and check fuel pressure.
Most failing/weak fuel pump will not work well below 1/4 tank mark.
It will fail in a HOT DAY.

Strange smell coming from my crhysler crossfire air con. intermittently musty smell from start up and while driving - seems to be at lower speeds. please help if possible

Firstly change your cabin filter(s) if smell still present then there is a cannistor you can buy from AC speciallists. You open the canistor, leave in footwell, close the car (windows, sunroof etc) and leave for a few hours. The can lets off a special gas that kills bacteria caused by AC. Problem solved.

Check engine light

It might but what exactly are the codes. Before you change the Mass air flow sensor, try cleaning it first with a can of mass flow cleaner.
If your running a oil K&N filter, there could be some oil residue on the sensor. Start with that and change the filter or clean it if it's a K&N.
The O2 sensor's could be bad also, you really need the code's to be sure what sensor is giving you the faulty signal.
Good luck and hope this helps.

How many air filters in my 2005 Honda Odyssey?

Your Honda Odyssey comes with only 2 filters: an engine intake air filter and a cabin filter.

Difference between an Air Filter and Air Conditioning filter

The air conditioning filter that your manual speaks of is known as a ''cabin filter'', it is much differant then your engine air filter. It filters the incoming air into your vehicles interior. So if someone has told you to replace your ''air filter'' they are more then likely speaking of your ''engine'' air fitler. You should check your engine air filter every oil change. If it shows signs of dirt, then replace it. Hope this helps =)

65K service

check the owners manual for recommendations, but in most cases this is about the miles (60,000 mile service) the cooling system should have the hoses changed and the coolant condition tested and flushed as ness, also the transmission should have a fluid and filter change, the fuel filter should be replaced (every 30,000 miles) and a front end aligned if tires are not wearing evenly.

How to change air conditioning filter chrysler crossfire 2005

I found a chrysler blog. Pull back carpet on passenger foot well, remove white styrofoam computer protector. Remove cardboard cover (remove two screws) from bottom of glove box. On Left side see a slot with plastic cover and two sliding latches. Open and remove and replace filter. Follow reverse to finish up. It is tight fit and hard to get to for normal sized man.
