What windstar years have interchangeable parts with the 95 ford windstar? Mainly engine and transmission and front suspension.

I've found that the easiest way to determine it is to use Car-Part.com
Type in the info and do a search. If you check the left hand column it will indicate the hear and type of vehicle.

The recycling yards use Hollander or Pinnacle to do an interchange. Then the more organized yards will inventory their parts. The inventoried parts reflect the interchange that was advised by Hollander and Pinnacle.

Mounting bolts for emerson lc401em2f

I had the same problem, there is documentation on the web or in the manual, total BS and it is not a vesa standard mounting bolt, hang the engineer. Fortunately I work at a shop with bolt inventory to experiment with, you will need four 5/16 x 1 inch us standard. Enjoy!

What is the actual name for the knob that controls how hard the fan blows? example- the know says 1-2-3-4. I have a 2005 cobalt and cant seem to figure out what it is called to get it replaced

Hi, it's called the blower switch, but I believe your switch is integrated into the control panel. So the panel is sold as a unit. Here is an example of what you would have to buy: http://www.automotix.net/usedautoparts/2005-chevrolet-cobalt-heater_and_ac_controls-inventory.html
Before buying this part, you may want to review my post at http://www.fixya.com/cars/r6234839-doesn_t_heater_or_air_conditioner_blow

Please let me know if you have more questions, and thanks for using FixYa.

My mechanic has determined that the body module for my oi winstar has gone bad. He is unable to locate this module. Where is it located?

Try to get a Part number off the old part or ask the mechanic the proper name for the part. There are several ways to locate this part.

Ford has a Parts locator which is an Internal inventory system not available to outsiders. Try a different Ford dealer or call the main Customer Service number in your Owners Manual.

Aftermarket parts work too! Call Autozone or Oreillys or DotCom them online. Or use the Search on Explorer entering the Part number. You will get hits and some will be Ford Dealers--You can verify the presence of the part and have your local Dealer transfer the Inventory.

Substitutions- a good Dealer parts guy can look up superceeded parts and get the new match. Salvage-many vehicles are wrecked with good parts and the Salvage Yards are tied in with a National network for parts requests. They UPS or FedEx used parts everywhere and some even give you a limited Warranty.

Let me know the outcome, I like to know what works best.
