You just need to make sure you put your distributor back in correctly. The timing should not have to be reset.

Inspect the plugs and see if any of them might have a hair line crack on the porcelain and make sure you have your wire routing correct and inspect compression on each cylinder

Hi,

It sounds like a problem with the idle air control valve. However, the possibilities are too numerous to explore here. I suggest that you drive to the nearest AutoZone and get a FREE diagnostic scan and get back to me,

All the best,

Where is the reset button on the 94 buick lesaber

We are assuming that you are talking about Fuel Pump Relay; so, take the plastic cover off the Power Distribution Center. There may be a plastic tab retaining the cover, depending on the model LeSabre you have. With the cover removed, stand before the power distribution center so that the square relays within it visually appear horizontal.

Locate the fuel pump relay in the lineup of relays within the power distribution center. If you're looking at the relays from the correct position, you should see two horizontal rows of five. Count from the right over to the third relay in the top row. This is your LeSabre's rear defogger relay; directly below it is the fuel pump relay. Disconnected and connected again to electrical reset it.

Additionally, this video could be helpful, 93 Buick Lesabre fuel pump relay location...

Good luck.

sounds like your timing is way off,if no timing gun and you dont have specs, loosen your distributer a bit and rev your engine to about3000 rpm and just listen to the engine while you slightly turn the distibuter until it is the smoothest sounding with no sputtering then tighten your distributer back up or pay the bucks get it timed at a shop its cheap

timing is off.classic symptoms of the timing being a few degrees off.. depending on how bad it is off you can try turning the distributor and see if it clears up if not just have to retime it just loosen the dist enough to give it a twist and see if it will clear up

If your timing belt belt broke, you have damaged the valves and the cylinder head will need to be removed and rebuilt, or replaced.
