Listen for the fuel pump to run for about 2 seconds when you turn the key on. More than likely your fuel pump is bad.

That might be the ignition coil that is causing that

Power window won't roll up on auto

If window will not roll up it can be caused by a problem with the mechanism, no power getting to motor, bad switch, bad motor, fuse issue.

Car lost power and will not restart

Probably overheated...check coolant and oil. If they are mixed or low....you have problems

I was driving down the road and lost power..no gas..no brakes...no steering.

did it restart?
the engine stalled, as such you
get
no engine power
no P/S reverts to manual steering, you did not loose steering.
same with P/B power brakes, you didnt lose it you lost power
assist, brakes will stop just as vast but takes a husky foot.
in school (driving) we were though to drive, stalled engine.
i guess most school went dumb. (seen it)
now stalls
engine stall for a vast number or reasons.

do that tuneup not called the 60k mile service point list. did you.?
cars ignored all fail, no car runs 300k miles service free,
skip them and get stranded, (i promise)

1: lost electric power to the EFI system.
2: engine overheated or lost compression for any reasons (complex)
3: lost spark
4: lost fuel
5: too much fuel, flooding, and stalling.
6: egr sticks open.
7: ISC sticks closed.
8:if not restart, say so and list expands way more...

cars are complex, it's not like a burned out desk lamp.
vast complexity and after 2007 , insane complexity.
avoid them 2007 and newer, sans NASA engineer.

Hi, I recently been have a problem with my 1998 Honda, passport. While driving my Honda it would shut down then starts again on its own while rolling. At times it would not start again on its own you need...

sure, rolling in gear you mean. (same effect as push starting a car with M/T) what speed did it restart, 5mph or 50 or 85mph.?)
what transmission. A/T or M/T? BEG ERROR there !

shut down,?
you mean stalls,
and engine can do 3 things
run too slow (way below 800RPM idle , illegal idle speeds)
stalls (rpm goes to zero or you find zero power from the engine )
if you stop the car, and the engine stalls that is an engine stall.

or run perfectly.

does your model have a tachometer to you can see RPM?
and if idle controls work,
not posting the trans type, (non body does here) makes answers near impossible. infact most will just ignore you posts.

with a M?T car the engine immediately returns (hot ) to 800rpm
and is regulated very closely by the EFI brain (PCM)
if not you are seeing IDLE control failure.
with and A/T there is no MT clutch and when you stop
the autoclutch drags (wastes fuel like mad) and puts a huge load
on the engine, stopped say at a red light. the idle controls
on A/t are greatly taxed here.
so RPM can drop real low. fail. or stall. below 800
a stall happens at about 400 RPM.
the M/T can at any time be restarted on the fly (moving)
but just dumping the clutch. or just waiting as you coast in gear.
this is how push starting any M/T car works.
but on an A/T car , on the fly restarts take huge speeds.
and only works on A/T that have 2 oil pumps.
the A/T with no rear pump , the A/T can not be push starter
or coast restarted, if the front pump is dead(engine stalled)
im not looking up your tranny spec. because you never stated, it.

my engine stalls. (not tranny slip)
1: bad 12vdc power to any EFI system component.
2: never ever tuned up per the free operators guide in glove box.
3: lost engine compression. 1 or all cylinders.
4: lost spark. (or timed wrong, early cars have distributors)
5: bad fueling. too much or too little

when the engine runs , does the MIL, CEL glow running
btw the CEL also glows, at all stalls. the lamp only means.
I HAVE ELECT power, now.... only.

I was driving and my car lost all power and won't restart I've been told the engine is seized solid and the timing chain is broke and that's why it wont work but the wheel's didn't lock...

I assume your S class is an automatic gearbox ,hence the roll to a stop when engine seize/cam chain break.the symptoms of a camchain break would be the valves will hit the pistons causing major damage to valves, pistons, cylinder head, conrods, bores and possibly crank. Its possible that the engine seized first causing the chain to break, either way it would be a seriously expensive/terminal engine problem.

We are leaking water from under the car and the temple light keeps coming on,we have a toyota lucida

If it`s pure water, then this is ok. This is water from when you use the Air-Conditioner -(A/C) As for the ``temple`` light- not sure what you mean- unless you mean ``temperature``??

I rolled all my windows down and then rolled them all back up but my front passenger window wont roll back up

It should roll up with assistance. Try helping it by GENTLY pulling up while holding the window switch. You may have to do this a couple times to get it all the way up. The problem is the window motor has gotten weak or lost power completely. The motor is a relatively easy part to get, but replacing it is very tough and unless you have done it before, or know what your doing I wouldn't suggest it ( it is possible though ). Hope it helps!

Lost power

Does the starter works? If it will not, maybe your problem is in the ignition switch.
