Ok, this isn't so much a solution as a work around.
As long as your phone is still holding the call (showing connected), once the Range Rover drops the call, hit the soft button that shows a picture of a green phone receiver....as if you were making a call. This will cause the Range Rover to reconnect the speakrs/mike to the phone, and you can continue your call in relative harmony.
I still haven't figured out how to get out of the jam when a second call comes in while you are still on the first....

Check all electrical conections. If they are good then it is probably the switch itself.

Testimonial: "I'll take a look at the switch. All connections seem fine."
the echo is because you have 2 microphones on.turn off the one on the phone or the cars mike, sorted..
if you are seen changing the satnav when driving you will be nicked(I HOPE)for failing to take due care and attention.you are driving a weapon dont forget,do YOUR kids play in the street?? I HOPE SO...my phone has satnav,i just tell them where and a voice tells me where to go, turn by turn, ultimate accessory,

Official LRNA solution: buy a new module. I will be doing this tomorrow. I have been through this comprehensively with LR Dallas and LRNA. There may well have been other modules installed depending on when the Rover was built, but mine is not flashable. BTW, when plugged in, the dealer computer checks your Rover for updated software, which is downloaded from LRNA every night.
