Not sure what you are actually wanting to know here. I do know that the ads use two types of clips, one is plastic and the other is metal, the only difference that I know of is the price.

Recently had a front wheel collapse onmy s type jaguar ive had it fixed but the DSC light is on and ABS is coming on under breaking on drivers side front wheel any ideas

the jaguar front wheel bearing comes complete with a abs sensor and bearing cover if someone has removed the cover it sounds like the air gap between sensor and the reluctor ring is to great or has someone renewed just bearing and not the hub unit like you are ment to do? have a good look at the rear of the bearing cover.

When driven and applying brakes car feels like a truck i belived is the abs system how to change abs sensor

to change the abs sensor on this vehicle you will have to replace a front wheel bearing if that is where the abs is acting up if not then you will need to have a scan tool to find out which sensor is acting up

I have a 2003 Vue...and the ABS light will not turn off...is it safe to drive until I can get it fixed?

If ABS light is on,you still have base brakes, just like an older vehicle with no ABS.Not a problem,as a matter of fact I always disable the ABS on my vehicles because I don't like it.

How do you install a front wheel bearing on a 2001 Pont Montana

jack the vehicle up remove the wheel
remove the brake caliper bottom bolt 15mm. lift the caliper up and slide the caliper pin out
remove the caliper housing bracket 2 - 15mm. bolts
remove the brake rotor
remove the drive axle nut 1 5/16
the remove the hub bearing bolts 3- 13mm. they are in behind (best to use a 13mm flex socket)
disconnect the ABS harness
use a hammer and hit the hub bearing flage (it maybe corroded )
now the hub bearing is out clean the steering knuckle with sandpaper to remove corrosion
install the hub bearing (make sure the ABS harness is in the right position)
and reassemble
hope this helps

Service traction system

Hi mzcongeniali, I have a 2001 Montana that had this same problem just a few months ago. Most likely the problem is that one of the traction sensors has gone bad. The sensor is part of the wheel bearing and you will have to replace the whole wheel bearing in order to replace the sensor. They are found on the front wheel bearings on both sides. You might have only one that is bad or both could be bad. If you want you could get a used one from a auto salvage yard or buy one brand new. If you have an all wheel drive then you will want to check all four wheel bearings to find the bad one. I hope this helps.

look for a bad(broken/bent teeth) or contaminated sensor tone ring on the front wheels, check the front ABS Speed sensors too, for grease , looseness, etc

2003 Pontiac Montana Front Wheel Bearings

Remove the wheel, remove the hub nut, remove the brake caliper and rotor, put your socket and extension through the hub flange onto the bearing retainer bolts, undo them, release the abs sensor connector if it has it, remove the bearing and hub flange as an assembly, put the new one on and go backwards from here. Torque the hub nut to 180 ft/lbs, your done.

2001 impala abs brakes light comes on only when you go thru water

The traction control system uses the abs wheel sensors to detect wheel speed if the abs light is on the entire abs system will disable giving you regular braking but it will also stop feeding info to the traction control
