Question about 2005 Mazda 3
On your car there should be a tensanor that you have to either put a 1/2 in rachet into or a crow bar on. that will relase the tension and you can remove the belt. than you should 1.dis connect the positive battey cable so you don't short out you electrical. 2. pull the plug out of the alternator. 3. you will need to undo the nut that has the other wire attachted to you alternator. 4. undo the 2 bolts holding you alternator to you engine. once that is done install the new alternator in the revers order.
