If it has a wobble when coming to a stop, a broken belt in a tire will do that. IF THE BRAKE PEDAL KIND OF PULSATES UP AND DOWN A LITTLE WHILE COMING TO A STOP, IT WOULD BE THE FRONT BRAKE ROTORS.

He changed the brakepads with worn rotors. You need to get your rotors turned. The old brakepads had worn down in a specific shape with how the rotors have worn down. If the rotors were worn down enough because of failure to change the pads in time, then new pads will skip along the surface of the rotor from which they clamp down on, causing the shaking you feel when braking. Go get it done at a shop, it shouldn't be much...somewhere in the range of $20 per rotor depending on the shop you go to.

I have had my 2002 Deville at several service garages and no one can solve the shaking/vibration problem the car has. The car starts shaking at 50 + mile per hour and above. I have 20 inch devanti rims...

don't listen to the guy who says buy new tires!! I took my 20's off bought new pirelli's and 18's replaced tie rods, wheel bearings and then finally ran into a real mechanic and he replaced both cv axles and it rides like a caddy again. He said the shaking is usualy caused by the inner joints which are the ones farther from the tire.Grab it and try to move it ,it shouldn't move period!!Also check for grease around it as it will throw grease once it's real bad.Advanced has them for 60 a piece and i got charged 2 hours of labor at 90 bucks an hour
trust me change em'!!Don't listen to anyone that says different,I did and it cost me!!

Brake light comes on sporadically

Usually this means a piece of brakepad is loose and floating against the rotor. It can also mean there is rust or debris around the ABS sensors or in the emergency brakes.

You need to inspect the brakepads.

You either have a bad master cylinder, or you have a leaking brake line, caliper or wheel cylinder.

I have a 2008 Accord with 24,000 miles and have been told the back brake pads need to be replaced. When I called my dealer, I was told that Honda knew there was a problem but did not know what was causing...

Yes, your vehicle needs to use the semi-metal brake pads.

Asbestos has been the best brakepad material; however, asbestos was outlawed last decade. Currently, the best is brakepad is semi-metal. The brakepad is impregnated with brass filings.

All semi-metal brakepads carry a limited lifetime warranty against wear. Purchase a set and compare to the ones on your vehicle.

Frontend shakes when braking, sometimes - have

The actual disc rotors have warped with heat (eg, driving with foot lightly on brake pedal). Easy fix, take it to a brake shop and get them to true the rotors. In New Zealand, we have guys that come to you to do it but essentially, they use a lathe and trim disc provided it doesn't go below manufacturers specs for thickness.

I hear a tapping from my right rear brake when I brake. Doesn't happen when I dont brake. I just replaced the shoes, drums and hardware. This was happening before i replaced all of this too.

dear friend:the tapping noise comes from the brakepads and it means that the anti rattle plates were not installed on the last brake pad

Will turning rotors fix a warpage issue? Before a recent brake pad change I noticed a shaking when applying the brakes. It is still somewhat noticeable after the brake pad were changed.

Sounds like they need to be skimmed, find a good auto shop.
Warping or shaking is caused by heat distortion to the disks or grooves caused by running the brakepads down too low.Skimming resurfaces the disks.

Go to pdftown.com. They have a BMW 3 series service manual. Very good manual. I use it all the time.

This is the link for the manual. It is a large file so it will take a while, but it is free. http://pdftown.com/search/node/BMW+3+Series+E36+wiring
