The standard is every 3 months/3000 miles, but if you do alot of intown driving you should shorten that on the other hand if you do a lot of hwy driving then you can add a little.

It's the heat of the engine that breaks down oil and in town driving causes the engine to stay warmer then hwy driving.

change oil filter every time you change oil. if the oil 10-40? or just 40 weight? if just 40wt, then no. spark plugs need to be changed every 60-100000 miles

Checked oil level is fine, but oil light saying 1 % oil. Car dose need a oil change also.

The 1% is for the oil life not the level. This means it is time to have your oil changed, and if it was just changed then the light needs to be reset in the message center

What does it mean when the wrench pops up and the message pops up that says oil life 15% on a 2007 Honda Accord SE sedan?

It is probably telling you that the oil needs changing soon. The wrench is telling you it needs service and the 15% is probably stating you have 15% of life in the oil left, with 0% being the oil has to be changed. Most newer cars recommend the oil is changed every 3000 mi or 3 mo.

No problem, just question on oil change,

I would recommend that you change your oil every 3,000 mile or 3 months which ever come first. This just help you keep a cleaner engine and keeps oil at Peak performance and provide excellent protection against sludge which developes with lack of oil change. Once a year seems too long for an oil change. However between oil changes you can add oil if needed. Good luck and thanks for using FIX YA

Oil light is on. car has oil, but does need an oil change

first off If there is no noise from the engine compartment when the engine is running then the oil sending unit is the problem. needing an oil change is not the problem unless there is a oil change reminder light,
