Where is bank 1 sensor 1 located on a 1998 Pontiac Bonneville 3.8 ?

If you have never replaced your O2 sensors it is well past time. The normal service life for O2 sensors is generally 60-75K. Your vehicle probably has a good 200K which means you should replace all of the oxygen sensors. These sensors are a major input to the engine management computer ...specifically providing info about fuel mixture. When the O2 sensors fail they provide bogus information; replace them all and you'll find your Bonny will run a *whole* lot better.

1998 bonneville transaxle sensor

If you are talking about the speed sensor, it is on the passenger side at 1 o'clock to the axel entering the trans case with your back to the pass wheel. It is held in with a 10mm bolt. twist it back and forth a little before you try to pull it out.

Hope this helps

Need the name of a part so i can replae it

Its a bracket...However, the map sensors life does not depend on the clip and a simple tie wrap or plastic strap will adequately hold it in place...may look a bit "backyard" but you'd be surprised how many similar items are attached in that way without any problems. If you need it to look "factory" get whatever you need from any local junkyard...likely they will charge $5 or less for it!
