Did you also replace the fuel filter? if it is almost plugged and you pick up more debris from the tank the pump will force it into the filter plugging it and causing the engine to die out due to lack of fuel but when you turn off the ignition the pump releases the pressure in the line and some of the debris may fall away opening up the filter enough so it can be eventually restarted and run until it plugs again.

New fuelpump installed no power supply, pump relay powered, safety relay powered,no bad fuses????

if you have no fuel when the and it just wont start it may be the crank position sensor if it's the 4.0l engine the crankshaft position sensor is on the top of the transmission bell housing on the driver's side and can be accessed from underneath the vehicle and is plugged in at the back of the intake manifold

96 Jeep cherokee ran out of gas, re-fuel, won't start. No spark.

You may have to prime the fuel pump. Or replace the fuel pump if that does not work. Why do you let it run out of gas? This is definately not good for an injected motor. It will continue to cause more and more problems. Fuel injectors should never run dry.

Fuel ECU fuse keeps blowing (30 amp)

Your fuel pump is internally binding and causing the fuse to blow. Change the pump (and filter while you're back there.)

94' Jeep Gc shuts off while driving. wont restart for hours!!

Sounds like either the fuel pump is going bad and overheating, or, the crankshaft position sensor is going bad...both items will give similar symptoms. Both are not terribly difficult jobs but are time consumers. Before doing either repair, you need a code scan and better diagnosis than I can give you here without a hands-on examination. Fuel pump can be diagnosed by spraying carb cleaner into the throttle body while cranking in "no start" condition. If engine fires up then stalls it's a pump problem. If not then it's a spark control problem.

1998 Jeep Cherokee won't start?

I need to confirm some information. The engine is rotating, just not starting, right? When you put the key into the "on" position, do you hear the fuel pump prime itself? You'll hear a hum sound for a couple of seconds. If not, spray some starting fluid into the throttle body and see if the engine starts. If it does start with the starting fluid, then shuts off again, the fuel pump or the fuel pump relay is bad. I'd change the relay first, if that doesn't help, the fuel pump is bad.
