Question about Hyundai Accent
That's a pretty broad question, but if you do the work yourself you will be looking at the cost of parts and a afternoon of your time. Again parts cost varies with where you purchace them....hyundai dealer will be most expensive option. Chain stores ( napa, autozone, checker ect) will cost you less usually. Basic tune up should include spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor cap and rotor if that vehicle has them. Air filter. Fuel filter, oil and oil filter. Ill throw out a ballpark price of let's say $150 for the parts. Might be more, might be less. Now if you have the work performed at a shop you will have to pay the shops labor rate( price varies by shop, call around for best prices.) Then multiply that by the time it takes them to do the job. ( example the shop rate is $80 per hour and it takes them 2 hours, you're looking at $160 for their time) and you'll have to pay their prices for parts too.

DEPENDS ON WHO YOU GET TO DO IT NOT EVEN 150.00

Depends on the shop you take it too and the mileage involved as a 50 thousand mile tuneup costs half as much as a 100 thousand mile tuneup the dealer will do any service bullitins and the aftermarket shop may not even check to see if their are any. If you are having a tuneup issue, then a coil or injector may have to be changed to comnplete a good tuneup and any part left not repaired or replaced is going to cause a tunup problem is just plain wrong. You could quote just putting in sparkplugs fuel filter and air filter and clean the throttle body and do it for less than $100 but the plug wires may have been heated sometime since the car was new and thier no good and have to be changed after thier pulled from the plugs but they were just fine right before they were pulled to put in the new plugs. Some plugs will go 100 thousand miles if the engine does'nt get any problems getting there ( overheating , bad gas, runing out of gas , being started with a low battery, being run with the check engine light on, being let on running in the yard running overnight.) all these things can effect the cost of a tuneup and what parts should be changed. The plugs and wires go hand in hand the filters are usally involved in the oil change cycle but if done in a nonprofessional shop or someone that skips things and bills anyway you might need alot of work done and this happens from the dealersships on down to the backyard mechanic to the doit yourselfer with the book in his hand that he can't quite understand how it really goes cause the book writer did'nt think hard enough about the person who might be trying to follow his directions as he's a good enough mechanic to write the bood he might not rember how it was when he first found out yopu pull plug wires with a plug boot pliers and if you don't you may as well put on new wires as your going to ruin the old ones and may do so evcen with the right tools . Injectors cost 175 each and their as many as cyclinders and thiers a 4 and 6 cyclinder version of your car so to give you an accrate price I've got to know what car you really have and what country it was built for sale new in as I'm answering these questions for the whole world and many questioners are using translaters to ask and I can only tell if the pay questions are being paid for in an odd amount like $5.23 instead of $6.00. exchange rate of money. You can address this site from anywhere in the world. Hyundai makes cars for most of the countries in the world but theirt built diffent for each country you sell them in. In Lexington kentucky wee I live it's reasonabler to fix cars but in Louisville Ky the same job costs more and in Miami Fla figure twice agian more if at the same level of shop ( dealer, Franschised tire store, or independant shop) even backyard wizard who might do a better job as he has less pressure to go fast and may spend the time to fix all your problems and try to keep you as a regular customer so he can avoid advertizing as you'll send all your friends and family and that's how I've been working and can't stop working and have to put off peaple with good work as I can't get to it all.
