Look for a vacuum leak. It could be a loose or damaged hose, or a bad intake or throttle body gasket. A large vacuum leak could have caused the original O2 sensor to send a lean mixture signal to the computer, which then compensated by adding more fuel to the mixture. If the vacuum leak caused a trouble code in the computer, it's possible the code is still there, and, even with the new O2 sensor, the computer is still adding fuel. Disconnect the battery for few minutes, or remove the fuse that goes to the ECM, to clear the trouble code. If this doesn't help, and you can't find a vacuum leak, then consider replacing the Throttle Position Sensor. If your engine has a Mass Airflow Sensor, remove it and see if the engine leans out. If it does, replace the MAF sensor.

Any time a car is running rich it will idle rough ! I need more information to give you some advise ! What are the MAF or MAP sensor readings ! Also have you had a koeo or koer test performed ? This will need to be done in order to give some accurate advise ! Keep in mind also that it could be a pcm failure at worse . Did you check the pcv valve to make sure that its not stuck ? Also how does the truck run while actually driving ?

You didn't say what type fuel delivery system you have. With an older vehicle you have no real history on I would say a great improvement would take place if you (depending what type you have) rebuild the carburator or clean and/or replace the fuel injectors.

Check for vac leaks. Check all vac lines for cracks especially where they connect. (also power brake booster hose)

My 1999 chevy blazer is running rich where I smell fuel fumes can this cause the truck to loose power and not go over 30 but the engine runs smooth

Most likely, A good "burn" is the right Fuel-air mixture. Too much fuel bad burn lots of black smoke. Not enough fuel It may not burn at all. Any emission codes? I will bet it won't pass an emissions test, so get it fixed. Probably affects mileage. Do you smell fuel in the engine compartment? you have a dangerous leak. Or do you smell at exhaust? Do you smell in the cab?
Probably leak in engine bay, or even under the truck's fuel line, filter, pump. or tank.

to find faults I suggest that you run the fault codes . The code/s will pin point the faulty sensors, solenoids and valves. replace as recommended

I found that there is gas in my motor oil on the 06 poniac grand prix. could it be a piston ring going bad?

I doubt it.
The most common way to get excess fuel in the oil is to have a fuel injector or fuel pressure regulator fail.

My mileage is over 130,000 ansd my car smokes when i drive it. It's white smoke. What's wrong with my car?

white smoke means water or antifreeze. blue smoke means oil. black smoke means rich fuel mixture. So if it is white you are burning antifreeze which usually means you have a bad head gasket or intake manifold gasket. is your car over heating? that is the main symptom of a bad head gasket. how much white smoke are you getting if it is not much it could be just condensation and nothing to worry about.

I had the GDI done but still not running properly. splutters, shurges and has a high gas consumption not running too bad on v power

I give a look towards the O2 sensor. When an O2 senor fails the ECU will run the engine rich (better to to this then run lean and burn up valves, in running rich the gas mileage goes bad quick) This condition sounds familiar for O2 sensor failiar.
I hope this may have helped,
Tom

High gas mileage (15- 20 l per 100km)

try changing the oil also it will cause the engine to burn more fuel with bad oil because it gets hot and evaporates it alot more
