Unfortanutly you have some transmission problems with this thing . Your 2 nd gear raito is incorrect your toqure conveter switch is not working correctly and your transmission fulid pressure is way off . BUt the news is not all bad its not 2nd gear is not likely the problem . Its the torque conveter switch or the fluid pressure switch or even the modulator that could cause this . You need to take to a transmission shop to get out cheap and make it work again

Hold lite and and a p1624 code on a 2001 sportage

Code number p1624 is MIL Request Signal from TCM to ECM. which means malfunction indication light(MIL) is requesting a signal from your engine control module(ECM) or Transmission control module(TCM) i would reccomend u take it to the dealership to get it checked out.
