Code 12 is a all clear code this code on 95 and older. It should be at the beginning and the ending of the code collection

Will a cam shaft senor keep my car from cranking when u cut it off I've changed both crank senor on it an it still want crank with out puting some quick start spray n it its a 2002 Buick century

when you say crank ,,, that means engine does not turn over when you turn the key to start position ,,,, as you said you use start spray this means engine is turning over ,,,,, i think you mean engine turns over but wont start,,,,,,, cam sensor will cause engine to be slower to start but you would be better to get the car plugged in to see what the fault codes are in the system ,,, also if no codes the data list of the engine sensors will show up a faulty sensor ,,, to be honest there is no point in spending your hard earned cash putting in sensors until you carry out a diagnostic check and only have to change the faulty sensor that shows of luck

no engines stated, there are many used . USA car?
won't crank robustly?
or cranks perfectly but wont start and run?

turns over means , zero (so does NO FIRE)

many parts turn over to attain a start and run condition.
RUNNING is the end goal.

if any car fails to start and run and the starting system is good.
then we do this. (gasoline cars, )

scotty assumes the engine is good, (has compression x num cyl)
some arent

2004 grand am se v6 sometimes wont start unless gas pedal is pushed

when you say -turn over do you mean firing-turning over to me means the starter motor is cranking or turning over-firing is when combustion happens in the cylinders-as far as the cranking continuing-try some wd40 in the ignition switch-it may be hanging up-Denny

1992 jeep cherokee sport 2 door 4.0 inline six. Jeep was running fine except when you went to start it it took two cranks sometimes three then would start. Went to start it the other day and it took alot...

Sounds more like a timing problem than an O2 Sensor. Distributor out of Sync would be my guess. It ran better at Higher idles because the timing belt/chain was tight from tension at low idle the timing was off which caused your problems. Now the belt is either broken or so loose the timing is out and the vehicle won't fire. If it has a Distributor cap remove it and watch the rotor. If it turns the belt is intact but Timing may still be off.

Battery and starter good but wont turn over

Do you mean it will crank over and not start or do you mean it wont crank.

If its turning then spray some brake cleaner in the throttle body or use some quick start. If it fires your fuel pump failed, If it does not fire you will need to check for codes. You most likely have an ignition issue.

Not knowing what year car you have leaves alot to be guessed at. But even so I would still recommend you do what I mentioned.
