1999 Camry PO125, P1130, P1135. What should I do? Dont want to more alot into it. It's my sons car at school.

Hello. Sorry to hear about your troubles.

The P-0125 DTC:
Specifically, the "coolant temperature is too low for closed loop operation", This indicates a partially stuck open thermostat; the coolant is not reaching the optimal temperature to allow the computer to use the various sensors on the engine; it is staying in a pre-programmed or defult mde.

The P1130 and the P1135 indicates a bad Air-Fuel sensor.
On a 4 cylinder, this would be the one on the exhaust manifold.

Replace the thermostat and the air/fuel sensor. Try to use Toyota parts; it has been shown that 'aftermarket' sensors do not perform very well in Toyotas. If you buy a 'generic' sensor, the code may remain, and you problm will not be fixed.

Thanks for choosing FixYa for asistance.

I have an engine light on to my Toyota Corolla 2003; diagnosed by the autozone OBD11 SCANNER P420. I replaced the oxygen sensor and the light deleted. After driving the car for 30 miles the light came on...

The trouble areas associated with this code are as follows:
1)Gas leakage on exhaust system
2)Oxygen sensor
3)Heated oxygen sensor
4)Three–way catalytic converter

The idea is to check for exhaust leaks first then the front sensor and rear sensor. If these all check out then the cat needs to be replaced.

Hope this helps. Thanks for using fixYa

WOW you never made a mistake MR TOYOTA ????

It seems your just lurking in old posts to stir up trouble.

And for you information that engine does have lifters (more correctly called CAM Followers, but they are a type of hydraulic lifter.
