I don't have a solution, but I have a problem. I have a 2005 taurus 3.0L vulcan OHV and the only way my car will run is if my coil pack order is 1,2,3 on top and 5,6,4 on the bottom. I've tried all of the ways that are posted on google, and none of them worked. so what is wrong with my car?

I am dead sure you have wires crossed up, remove all the wires and start over from scratch. Go to this web site for the diagram, it only goes to 2004 models but i know that it is the same on the 05 Vulcanhttp://autorepair.about.com/library/firi...

Some one please tell me how to get the plugs right on 2001 mercury moutaineer on the coil

The firing order is 1-4-2-5-3-6. But on the coil they should be in this order: 1-2-3 on back row, and 5-6-4 on front row. Standing from in front of car facing engine compartment, going from passengers side to drivers side. Hope that makes sense.

2003 ford windstar spark plug wires diagram

I\'m assuming you have the 3.8 engine, although i believe the firing order is the same on all there v6 sideways mounted front wheel drive Windstars. That firing order is 1-4-2-5-3-6, with 1-2-3 going from left to right on the back side of the engine and 4-5-6 left to right on the front side of the engine.Looking straight down at the coil from the front of the car,you\'ll see 2 rows of coil terminals. The row on the right side is 1-2-3 going from top to bottom, row on left side is 6-5-4 going from top to bottom. Hook the number 1 coil terminal to the number 1 spark plug ,being careful to use the spark plug wire that is closest in length to the length you need. If your just replacing wires, yuo shouldn\'t have to much trouble. If your nreplacing the spark plugs you will find the ones in the rear, especially the number 2 [the middle one} are pretty difficult without removing the cowling. A total pain brought to you by the designers at Ford!
