Clean the throttle interior, throttle plate, idle air control valve passageways and idle air control valve itself until like new and this should be enough to cure everything. Takes about an hour and a little WD40 on a cloth.

Intrepid turns off

Sounds like the ac compressor is seized up.
I would unplug the compressor clutch and see if it still stalls.

AC cycles on and off when car idles low.

The compressor should cycle on and off. Sounds like the idle needs to be set. There is a pressure sw. on the dryer that might be going bad but the plugs and wires will not cause your problem unless they are just really bad.

F150 79 351m carb needs adjustment, engine idles rought but runs smooth after take off

This is not an idle adjustment. This is a vacuum leak. Check all hoses and the intake manifold gaskets.

I have a 1994 Toyota Corolla that im having idling issues with. When Im driving if I come to a complete stop at a stop sign or red light the car would idle down to shutting off. I ran the engine codes and...

The AC solenoid isn't working. When you turn on the AC this solenoid on the throttle will kick the idle up a little to keep it from stalling when you let off the pedal.

If you already check for vacuum leaks, change the plugs, fuel and air filters, the next step is to remove the plastic duct from the TB to expose and wipe clean the IAT sensor (screen covering TB entrance) applying Carb. Cleaner into a clean rag to wipe it clean. Do not apply Carb. Cleaner directly into TB or IAT Sensor. If problem persists, your IAC valve may be defective.

The Idle Air Control (IAC) valve adjusts the engine idle speed. The valve is located on the side of the throttle body. The valve is controlled by a duty cycle signal from the PCM and allows air to bypass the throttle plate in order to maintain the proper idle speed.

Do not attempt to clean the IAC valve. Carburetor tune-up cleaners or any type of solvent cleaners will damage the internal components of the valve.

Good Luck!! A HELPFUL - 4 THUMBS - rating for this solution would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for using FixYa!!

My 92 honda accord will shut off if I turn the AC on in an idle position. How do I find out what the problem is and fix it?

You need a set of ac guages put on the car to see if it is the ac problem or a idle air control problem.

Turn on the A/C and the truck starts idling funny and tried to shut off, if the A/C is turn off then the truck runs just fine . What is causing this problem?

Ether the ac compressor is trying to lock up,or the engine is not idling up to compensate for the ac,check out the idle air control valve, have a code reader put on it to see if there are any codes that will help diagnose the problem

Rought idle then boggs out and shuts off.

I would start with changing the plugs, especially if they are original. If doing yourself, make sure to use anti-seize on threads of new plugs, gap plugs to manufacturer specs, and properly torque plugs to manufacturer specs.
Also, if it has been sitting for a while, change fuel filter, oil, and top off with fresh gas.
