Try turning the radio on before following the steps in the manual. We encountered the same problem and now have written this step in the manual after a friendly GM dealer showed us what to do.

How doI set the clock

Setting the Time (Without Date Display) If your vehicle has an AM/FM base radio with a single CD player and preset buttons numbered one through six, the radio will have a clock button for setting the time. You can set the time by following these steps: 1. Press the clock button until the hour numbers begin flashing on the display. Press the clock button a second time and the minute numbers will begin flashing on the display. 2. While either the hour or the minute numbers are flashing, turn the tune knob, located on the upper right side of the radio, clockwise or counterclockwise to increase or decrease the time. Instead of using the tune knob, you can also press the SEEK, FWD (forward), or REV (reverse) buttons to adjust the time. 3. Press the clock button again until the clock display stops flashing to set the currently displayed time; otherwise, the flashing will stop after five seconds and the current time displayed will be automatically set. To change the time default setting from 12 hour to 24 hour, press the clock button and then the pushbutton located under the forward arrow label. Once the time 12H and 24H are displayed, press the pushbutton located under the desired option to select the default. Press the clock button again to apply the selected default, or let the screen time out. Setting the Time (With Date Display) If your vehicle has a radio with a single CD player or a CD with DVD player, the radio will have a clock button for setting the time and date. To set the time and date, follow these instructions: 1. Turn the radio on. 2. Press the clock button and the HR, MIN, MM, DD, YYYY (hour, minute, month, day, and year) will appear on the display. 220 3. Press the pushbutton located under any one of the labels that you want to change. Every time the pushbutton is pressed again, the time or the date if selected, will increase by one. • Another way to increase the time or date, is to press the right SEEK arrow or FWD (forward) button. • To decrease, press the left SEEK arrow or REV (reverse) button. You can also turn the tune knob, located on the upper right side of the radio, to adjust the selected setting. The date will not automatically display. The only way to see the date is by pressing the clock button when the radio is on. The date with display will time out after a few seconds and go back to the normal radio and time display. If your vehicle has a radio with a six-disc CD player, the radio will have a MENU button instead of the clock button to set the time and date. To set the time and date, follow these instructions: 1. Turn the radio on. 2. Press the MENU button. Once the clock option is displayed. 3. Press the pushbutton located under that label. The HR, MIN, MM, DD, YYYY will appear on the display. 4. The only way to see the date is by pressing the MENU button and then the clock button when the radio is on. Press the clock button and then the pushbutton located under the forward arrow label. Once the time 12H and 24H, and the date MM/DD/YYYY (month, day, and year) and DD/MM/YYYY (day, month, and year) are displayed. 2. Press the pushbutton located under the desired option. 3. Press the clock or MENU button again to apply the selected default, or let the screen time out

How do I set the time in a 2006 Saturn Vue clock with a CD player. Pressing the small button and turning the volume knob, according to the manual doesn't work for me. Thanks..Ken

This will work if you turn the radio on first. The manual seems to have left that part out. I wrote it into my manual for the next time the time changes.

How do i reset the oil light on a 03 saturn vue? i did the turn the key and press the gas peddle 3 times and that didn't work.

The procedure you used is for the 2006 > Vue, and will not work on your 2003. For the 2002-2005 Saturn Vue V4 or V6 - Under the hood you will see a black fuse box behind the battery. Open it up and you will see a red button, it is small and looks like a fuse but on the top it will say Oil-Res. Turn on the ignition & press and hold that button for about 10 seconds. You may want to have a friend sit in the driver's seat and watch for the indicator to start flashing, which indicates you've activated the reset. Turn off the ignition and that will reset the Oil light.

How do u reset the time on a honda civic 2004

Press and hold the CLOCK button until you hear a beep. Change the hours by pressing the H (Preset 4) button until the numbers advance to the desired time. Change the minutes by press the M (Preset 5) button until the numbers advance to the desired time. When you are finished, press the CLOCK button.
Vehicles without CD Player
Adjust the hours by pressing and holding the CLOCK button, then pressing the H (Preset 4) button. Adjust the minutes by pressing and holding the CLOCK button, then pressing the M (Preset 5) button
You can quickly set the time to the nearest hour. If the displayed time is before the half hour, press and hold the CLOCK button until you hear a beep, then press the R (Preset 6) button to set the clock back to the previous hour. If the displayed time is after the half hour, the clock sets forward to the beginning of the next hour.
For example: 1:06 will reset to 1:00 or 1:52 will reset to 2:00
Hope this gets you there.
