Well its easy lift up on the wiper blade arm, then put a rag under and around the other end so you dont scratch the paint. .use a screwdriver to pry up on the end that is connecteed to the vehicle one side then the other if you have problems let me know.

The drivers side wiper will not sweep, when I turn on the wipers the passenger side works fine. The driver side attempts but doesnt sweep. So I doubt its the wiper motor. any ideas are welcome.

check the nut at the base of the wiper arm . There is a splined taper on the end of the wiper arm shaft and if this is loose then the arm shaft moves but it turns inside the base of the wiper arm.

How do I change wiper blades 2001 Chevy blazer

Open the cap at the end of the windshield wiper arm at the cowl of the Blazer. This will reveal the bolt that secures the wiper arm to the wiper linkage.
Unbolt the wiper arm using a 3/8-inch ratchet and socket. Place the bolt to the side, as you will reuse it later.
Pull the wiper arm up at the blade so that the blade of the wiper is pointing into the air. Then pull at the base of the arm, wiggling it slightly. It's a keyed gear, so it may take a little bit of workunderlined.png?1 to break it free, but with the right amount of wiggling, it will disengage.

How do you remove the starter from a 1996 chevy 4WD blazer?

NO, it's kind of tight, but it's not that bad. You do need to remove the torque converter cover, and slide/rotate it as much to the driver's side of the vehicle as possible.

How do I get he wiper arm off a Chevy Blazer 2000? I don't see a cap or lid to remove to get to the nut and I don't want to break it by doing it wrong.

Down at the Base of it where it attaches, There are Very Small Tabs that will have to be Pulled up with Pliers. Then you can work them off. They will still be tight though, Just work back and forth While pulling on the Base.

Wiper arm does not move when on

The problem you have is the shaft that the nut is on has splinds on it and these are worn out, the only real solution is to change the shaft.
    Hope this helps

Chevy blazer - windshield wiper arm spins on the post.

U will need to see if the small serrations that hold the arm are worn off, if they are u will need to replace the wiper arm and the wiper transmission linkage assembly, the post is not serviced separate, try finding a used one, they are common in salvage yards, a new wiper trans if it is still available will cost about $200
