Try checking the fuses under the hood. Your owners manual should have an exact location - it should also tell you exactly where the right fuse is (either in that fuse box or inside the car). Try replacing the fuse anyways as sometimes it can break right in the base, still hidden behind the plastic.

I have a mazda 6 that has a headlight problem, low beams do not work and high beams do. It started with one light goning out and next time i started the car the second one went out. Also front makers went...

if your vehicle has H4 headlight bulbs fitted you will find that they have both high & low beam filaments in them, what has most likely happened is that the low beam filaments are blown & the bulbs need to be replaced, also you may find that high & low beam circuits are on separate fuses, & also the front markers may have there own fuse check the fuses as well.......hope this helps......cheers.

Both low beam lights dont work on my 2005 Toyota Corolla.; but my high beam lights do. I have already checked the fuses. Fuses okay. Is this a switch problem or should I check the bulbs first.

CHECK THE BULBS FIRST! TRY REPLACING WITH A NEA ONE ON ONE SIDE, AND TURN LIGHTS ON, IF YOUR LOW BEAM LITES UP, REPLACE THE OTHER ONE! IF NOT THERE COULD BE A WIRING PROBLEM TO THE LOW BEAMS

2004 malibu low beam headllights dont work but high beam do

first check fuses and relays that give low beam lamp power if all checks out ok check bulbs youshould be able to see the filliment inside the bulb if its broken replace the bulb. if bulb check ok get a test light and check for power at the wires going to the bulbs if you have ppwer with the light switch on replace bulbs. if no power to the wires going to the bulbs replace light switch.

My passenger side low beam headlight is out. the driver side low beam headlight works fine. I replaced the bulb and the headlight still doesn't work. What should I look at next?

Check the fuse. There are seperate fuses for right and left. You dont mention if the high beam works for that side? If it does, the fuse is good. The GREEN wire at the bulb is the ground for the low beam. If that wire has power, then the ground is bad. If the high beam works, the hi'lo beam switch is good, and there is a problem between that headlight and the Engine Compartment Junction Block

No headlights. Low beam out High beam work. I replaced the bulbs and check all fuses. Could it be the headlamp switch

could be becauce if you dont have low beams and high beams do work once you replace them with new bulbs low beams should work.

Drl and high beams dont work

Check the bulbs -- the daytime running lamps use the highbeams on the resistor -- There are two filliments per bulb one high; one low. If both high beam filliments are out nothing will work....replace bulbs if this is the case.

LOW BEAM LIGHTS

Hi Rich Million,

Check the bulbs for the low beam problem and if they're ok, check the fuses under the bonnet (hood) which are found in the fuse box. If you've already checked those, go to the fuse box inside the vehicle.

Still no luck....remember that there are fuses and relays inside the cabin behind the kick panel.....You may find that there is a problem with the main fuse box.....If you drive over rough terrain, check the connections under the main fuse box....even if your roads are all smooth, it's still worth checking.....
