Will i have bad news for you, your heater/a/c system is all electronic. ( not like the old days when we seen this there was just a broken vacuum hose ) now all the doors inside the heater system are run by electric motors they call them actuator's now days and they are all controlled by a computer called a HVAC control module, and most likely this is what has went bad on your truck.....sorry

Clicking noise coming from dashboard when i first start my truck.

Mode door module.
This module controls the direction of the air flow. If the module is bad, it will continue to push the door a certain way even it can not move anymore.

I am working on a 2003 Chevy Trailblazer and the vents just blow out warm air, and will not change to the defost vents or the floor vents. Can this be the blend door actuator? And if so where is it

yes it could be the blend door, could be broken, or the actuator, or could be the climate control too, if you know where the heater core is then you just found the blend door, goodluck. Thanks

AC works fine at first then stops blowing thru dash vents and will only blow thru defrost and floor vents. this is an 02 chevy trailblazer. It this an expensive thing to fix?

It's most likely a vacuum line, look under your hood (close to the cowl panel) for a disconnected, cracked or broken vacuum line.

In some rear cases, it could be the vacuum switch (in dash). Or vacuum diaphragm (under dash).

Hope this helps you ???

2003 Chevy trailblazer, the 4 front dash air

{: ) Check first the fuse labeled HVAC1 10A at the rear fuseblock. If okay, the mode actuator could be faulty. You can try this: turn ignition switch and a/c off for a minute. Then turn ignition on, wait forty seconds. Afterwards, start the engine, and check your a/c again.

I have a 2004 chevy trailblazer. My problem is the a/c not blowing out the front vents, but is blowing out the floor, side, and defrost vents. What is the problem?

There maybe some thing wrong with the air direction door. Or the actuator that operates it. This is probably a dealer fix but check local auto A/C repair shops to see if they can do this kind of work.

THE AIR SELECTOR MAY BE BAD BUT THE ARMS ON THE SIDE OF THE HEATER THAT REDIRECT THE FLOW LOOSEN AND WILL NOT OPEN THE FLAPPER, THIESE ARE LOCATED ON THE DRIVERS SIDE WHERE THE AIR BLOWS OUT ONTO THE FLOOR ABOUT HALF WAY UP.
