Check the ignition fuse. And if that is could u need a new ignition switch not the key mecanisum but the electronic switch it goes into

Engen light oonly comes on somtimes on dash not on no start


sounds like a short in your ECM. (electronic control module) the computer that runs your systems. it also runs the check engine light and lets you know when a sensor or something isnt working. you will need a good mechanic that knows how to do the electronics in a car.

I work at a car dealership and usually turns out to be the door lock actuator itself if everything is working as you say.

have you checked to ensure that the actuator is working? if the actuator isn't working then the ring gear wont engage and won't turn the front shafts. try turning your key to accessory and put the truck in 4wd

Make sure that the Battery Terminals are Clean and free of Corosion. Then Put the Cables back on a Little Bit Tighter.
