98 explorer very nice truck but tranmission problems all the grears work but have to riv the engion up to 4 to 5 thousand rpm to move the truck in any direction can you help ps have new 4.0 l in the truck last year please help

Check your fuses under hood and on dash panel if none are bad or blown then will be a cable issue

2001 buick century if throttled up at the engine runs great but if throttled up by the throttle pedel it begins to surge


This car should have a throttle positioning sensor. Have you had the codes run on your vehicle. Free at most local auto parts centers

Won't idle in grear


look for a vacum leak also check the egr valve

I put the car in a grear and I go to hit the gas and the car will not move in any grear

Low rpm's in idle when heating/cooling system is on & surges.


Check your EGR or your Idle control Valve. This can cause a problem with your irratic idling
