Genaerally...the fuse box is located on the drivers side inside the car near the brake release. The cover shows what the fuses are for (ie: headlights, heater etc). The owner's manual should show the location and general info. In addition...there are other fuses and relays in the auto. These generally should be left to the mechanically inclined. Under the hood on firewall by passenger side is the maxi fuse and relay center. Also some models have fuses on passenger side and under rear seats inside the car. Go to library to get GM auto repair manual for the year and make. This should show you what the fuses are for and include wiring diagrams.
The fuse box should be located under the hood, probably on the driver side
