Question about 1994 Nissan Maxima

I have a 1990 Nissan Maxima I change spark plugs,fuel filter,plug wires,and distributor cap with rotor and still having a bad miss.what next to do?

Could also be a bad valve you may need to do a compression test, or could be a bad fuel injector.

check fuel filter,or fuel injectors, fuel pressure regulator.Also check fuel filler cap.Check exhaust system for plugged catalytic converter,muffler,bent exhaust pipes,etc.

could just need a tune up,you could also pull of the distributor cap and look for oil intrusion, if there is you will need to replace the distributor

1997 mercury villager i have spark and fuel,changed wires,cap,rotor,and plugs.the car ran good yesterday,moved it and went to go somewhere last nite and turns over but dosent start.


could be distributor. remove cap and rotor and slotted wheel. look for brown dust covering optical sensor from bad bearing. If yes, replace distributor. It triggers spark and fuel injection.

Remove the distributor cap,look inside to see if the reluctor is emersed in oil,if so,replace the distributor,the seal in the distributor is bad.

Had a computer on my 1990 Cadillac Deville bad, after changing plugs, wires, cap, fuel injectors, egr valve, etc.

The computer was not firing an injector and i had a miss and rough running mostly at 35 mph on the roads. It bucked like a bull.in a rodeo.

You may have a loose spark plug wire or your main spark plug rotor spinner might be bad its where all the plugs join together. Left side of maxima.
