It's located inside the distributor. You'll have to remove the dist. cap and the metal plate below, to gain access to remove the ignition module.

Ignition control module! It is located inside the distributor. I have a 1991 honda accord and honda had a recall on the control module. get your vin # nand call your local honda dealership and see if '99 had a recall too they will replace it free, if not mine cost $60

Where is the ignition module located at on a 1991


The ignition module is located inside the distributor below where the rotor is, it is held down with two or three screws to the distributor plate. There are two components in there the coil pick up is the device that picks up a signal from the distributor shaft, the other component is the ign. module.

Sounds like the distributor. But you may have a faulty replacement coil..get an exchange and see if it is faulty. I have received many replacement parts that fail prematurely.

1991 honda accord has S light on.


from my experience in the matter it could be two things.1 it could be the start of a problem in the trans.control module or 2 it could be vehicle speed sensor.

My 91 Honda Accord dx turns over and over... upon turning key


1991 honda accords had a recall on the ignition control module this in the distributor more commonly known as the igniter. call a honda dealer with your vin number and they will tell you yours has been replaced or not. Mine was so had to to buy one at auto parts store for $60 .kinda expensive for this little chip with 4 wires.

Hello, firstly I was wondering if the lights shut off when you pull the switch off the harness?
If YES, then THAT switch or wiring could be bad
if NO, then it's most likely the body control module
