The crank sensor is always near the front of the engine usually using the crankshaft pulley on the front or sometimes the crankshaft itself.

Tahoe not getting fire to plugs, when I try to crank it there is an odor of gas and no start! Crank sensor,evap purge valve solenoid, fuel pump and knock sensors have all been replaced.

Things to check:
  1. Timing chain or timing belt (depending on which engine you have);
  2. Coil pack or ignition coil (depending on which engine and year);
  3. Rotor and distributor cap (if your Tahoe is an earlier model);
  4. ECU (especially if you jump-started the car before the issue began);

1999 tahoe crank/cam sensor?

the 5.3 and 6.0 are famous for bad crank sensor. never a problem with cam sensor. the crank sensor is located behind the starter. you need to remove starter to get to it. ther is one bolt holding it in. check the wires going to the sensor because they are so close to the exhaust the get brittle and brake. if the wire is good change sensor and your car will run fine

2001 tahoe no crank/nostart battery good starter good????

Hello: If the security light is blinking then you may have a passlock problem. If so you will need to replace the complete ignition lock cylinder.

WHERE IS THE IGNITION MODULE

It does not have one. It don't even have a distributor in it.
You either have a bad cam sensor or crank sensor if it's not firing.

2001 Chevy Silverado anti-lock brakes activate on dry pavement, the pedal pulsates, the typical anti-lock brake sound is heard, and the truck feels like it is not going to stop at times

One of the sensors has gone bad and needs to be replaced, the other thing to that would also do that is the ABS sensor is dirty or needs to be re gaped to the speed ring on the hub. There was a issue bulletin with your Tahoe on the ABS activating under 8 km/h. Good luck and hope this helps, if not clean out the sensor with brake parts cleaner and check the wire harness and ABS sensor bracket. Re gap the sensor to the speed ring hub. Here is the bulletin. 1999 Chevy tahoe will not start

check the crank sensor. no signal from the crank sensor causes a no spark condition. best way to check is to put a scanner on and check for rpms.
the crank sensor is differnt from the cam sensor
