Another thing,Dont tell me your Hayes manual does not have a section on Chassis electrical system. Just because you didnt find it in your manual does not mean it not there. Iv been reading manual for 40years. If you are not going to dig into that manual ,than Im going to think your not serious.Always start in the Contents where all chapters are listed. chapter 12 in mine says Chassis electrical systems and yours does too.maybe not the same chapter but the heading will be the same in every Hayes manual. So lets start reading it.

maybe better explain that "only works on one side" report -- do you get a dash-indicator, but no 'blink'?
Bad lamp. Flashers need a minimum current-load to function correctly.

Have you checked the park light fuse for power, and do you have power coming out of the headlight switch on that circuit ?

If you have replaced the bulbs, look for a loose conection or broken wire.

1982 pontiac firebird wont turn over, push on clutch turn key only one click.

This is a sign of inadequate power to the starter. This can be from a tired battery or corroded cable terminals at the battery, the input terminal of the starter or a corroded connection between the negative battery terminal or chassis to engine.

Turning signals dont work but hazzerds do

The turn signal flasher is separate from the emergency flasher. It could also be the turn signal fuse, burned out bulbs, dirty or corroded sockets and lastly the turn signal switch.

Turn signals dont flash on 95 firebird formula

There are dual elements bulb and single element bulb.

You need to see is there two contacts inside the socket.

If you accidentally put a single contact bulb into dual contact socket......it will cause this problem.

Check it out.

2001 Pontiac Firebird has turn signal problem

The turns, hazards, high/ low headlamps, possibly cruise cont. and wipers, are all operated by the "multifunction switch". Replace it and you should be good to go. I hope this helps.
