Question about 2001 Chrysler Voyager

1 Answer

I bought a second hand voyager but have no user manual. I have a repair manual but need to know simple stuff like how to remove seats, how to operate heated, seats, airconetc etc. Any idea where I can get a user guide please?

Couldn't get user's manual online only a technical manual, which told me everything about the vehicle except the useful stuff like how to remove the seats etc! As it happens I found the small users manual in a box un der the seat but still couldn't get the easy roller seats to lock in, turns out they were the wrong seats so got a friend to attack the latches with an angle grinder and they now fit perfectly!!

I need to replace the heater core in my 2001 for f

Have a look at this.

Lots of nice to know stuff on an otherwise all day heater core change. Pay attention to the notes on NEW o'ring sizes and what screws to keep together.

1996 grand voyager won't start

Donna, you need to check to see if there is fuel getting to the engine to determine if it's the fuel pump. The 1st and easiest check, is to turn the key to the 'run' position, but do not turn the engine over, if you do, go back one 'notch' on the key. You should hear a 'whirring' sound coming from the fuel tank, which would be the fuel pump going on. This sound will only last a few seconds, unless you start the vehicle (which you can't). If there is no sound, it could be a bad pump, BUT 1st check the easy stuff: fuel pump fuse, fuel pump relay, ASD relay or other related circuits. So start simple, and go from there, good luck, let me know what you find.

Power seat wont work

Big problem with these cars is the electrical connector behind the driver seat on the floor. Son of a gun to open use a small screw driver and be careful. They must closetightly and hold. 90% of time the terminals are loaded with corrosion. Remove battery power from the vehicle and either clean them or replace them. If that doesn't work pull seat cushions out and test the switch. Use shop manual for this
simple test. Either check the switch for resistance or remove the switch from the electrical connectors and jump the terminals with a jumper wire to see if you get the seat motor to move. If it does you need a new switch if it doesn't you need a new motor. Shop manual may have another way to test this with the switch in place. Here you are measuing for continuity.
This is fun stuff . good luck &keep me posted

How do i fix the heated seat - it doesnt get hot

ensure the fuse hasn't popped that controls the seats heater.
secondly ensure that all wiring to heater is firmly connected.
I had similar scenario recently and it was as simple as loose wiring.
