94 Corvette. Windows don't roll down or up button on Side door not working either. Hatch Button works on Center Console. Are there fuses under hood causing this? The Stereo Amp behind Seat BAD, water

Are there fuses under hood causing this? Without looking at wiring diagrams to see what all is involved in the power window electrical circuit would be guessing as to what the problem is . An looking at a wiring diagram I see a circuit breaker supply's B+ voltage for the window's . Circuit breakers very rarely go bad . I would look for broken wire's inside the rubber flex boot from the body to the door. Or maybe the power window control module is bad . If you know nothing of automotive electrical systems , wiring diagram's ,an how to test with a DMM - digital multi-meter ,your best bet mite be to take it to a qualified repair shop .

How do i change my front manual seat over to a power seat will my car have the clip were it will just plug in

if you look under and around sides of your seat you may find an electrical connector not connected , this is probably the power seat connection , i\'ve mostly seen them under seat poked through a small slit in the carpet,as long as the seat you get is the same model year etc you shouls have no problems ,may have to put fuse in fuse box lowerdash drivers side list of fuses will be on the lid cover, hope it works out power seats so much nicer

Power Seat

The passenger seat has a separate drive system. Check and make sure all the electrical connections are proper. Sometimes the switch goes bad. You can "Carefully" take the switch out of the side of the seat and check the continuity of the switch. It also could be shorted out because some lame brain crammed something under the seat and broke the ground wire. You did not mention what kind of a car you are driving. So, maybe the answer is all wrong. A loose ground wire can cause the seat not to work.

Driver seat not working

Beings it's probably a electric adjusted seat (you didn't state if so), it might be a fuse.

Electrical?

The seat and hatch problem sound like an electrical contact issue. They either need to be cleaned or the is a bad connection (maybe a bad wire) The oil light could be caused by a bad oil filter or a cheap oil filter.

I've a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited, both of the front power seats have stopped working, I suspect a short. I have a strong smell of burnt wire or varnish in the vehicle. Is there a master controller...

First of all: Ground your car till you fixed this problem! A short can cause a fire and, believe me you can't stop it!
Next: check the complete wiring for the seat first, then remove the seat and check wiring and switch inside. After that, check the motor(s). If there is no problem with the seat and the wiring in and to the seat, remove the dash board (you need to remove it complete! This will take a day, if you don't do this every day). Use a wiring diagram and check the wiring for a short or broken wire. The electrical system is not as simple as it was in the later 80' . Cars with ODB systems uses wires not only for a special system, like power seat. The same wire can be uses to activate other systems so it is not easy to find the electrical cramlin right at the point you think it have to be! Searching for a short can cost you days or, in some cases weeks.

Heated seats

Likely, the heating element in the seat has failed. The reason is simply that the drivers seat is in use more than any other seat in the vehicle. You can check continuity of the element with an ohmeter across the seat side of the heater connector. Check for power at the harness side with a volt meter. If there is power but no continuity, heater element has failed. Personally, I'd probably just live with it but you can either attempt to install a new heater element or if you can find a similar seat in a salvage yard, just buy it and put it in! (whole seat probably costs less than the element!!!
