Need to check and fix ECU for camry 2005 4 cyl. automatic thanks

You can not do that

You need to have knowledge & professional
test equipment

ECU if that is correct for your vehicle, seldom fail
& then you don't fix it,they get replaced with a new
or reman one & may have to be flashed to even work

I think you need to tell us why your here, as to the vehicle
problems that brought about the question

I'm working with a 1994 4 cyl. 2.2L Camry. It suddenly started running rough. Like a bad miss. Replaced the plugs, wires, dist. cap and rotor button....no change. There is fire going to the plugs...

it may be an injector problem on that cylinder, the injector could be blocked or the wiring or connector is faulty.....hope this helps......cheers.

My toyota camry will not pick speed especially when it climbing a hill

this could be caused by an ignition problem, wrong parts, or a timing problem.
try using ngk or denso(ngk recommended) spark plugs, ngk spark plug wires, and if needed new coils. ngk and denso are the factory recommended parts for the model, i have a 98 camry lewith a 2.2.
also if it is low mileage, below 200k or doesnt leak oil, try castrol syntec 5w 30 oil and a k&n air filter

1995 camry 6 cyl misfires and runs rough at low speeds but travels like a jet in higher speeds, the back three coil packs misfire doesnt matter if you switch the coils around...had a new gas tank installed...

most likely fuel /demands more on higher speeds and too much at idle have seen few ecu problems however in this case i would check injectors first let me know and please rate this info

Hi, my first recommendation would be to take the plugs out and visually inspect each one and check to make sure they are properly gapped, if they look fouled at all i would replace them without hesitation. try throwing a set of NGK plugs in the car to fix the misfires. other than that you may want to look at the wires. good luck joe

Intermitent rough idle & slight miss at low speeds

Trying to solve same problem on my 1994 ford Taurus. So as I see it just need to rethink what we did wrong to begin with and we could have put one of the wires on wrong (in wrong placement) or bad conection.
