Check the cables to the battery and alternator. they may not have good connection. Use a multimeter to make sure that you get about 12 to14v on the wires not the battery. If the battery is dead The alternator is usually the culprit. Hope this helps

Check connections to alternator; if everything is tightly connected then have it tested. You should also have battery tested as the car may have been running directly off it.

VTX1300 was dead. Got a jump, was idling fine so I start driving mile it lost power started popping so pulled over let it idle but all the gauges were flickering then it died and would not start again

the report suggest that you have a battery problem in that it has a dead cell and is not taking a charge or the charge circuit is not operational and the battery is being drained in running the electronics of the bike

My battery keeps dieing on my 1994 accord, what could the problem be?

If you can drive it for a long time then it is not the alternator. The battery has a short charge duration and it is old. There is a parasitic drain on the system that is draining it when it is not running.

Turn key, no start, dash dead, but intermittent symptons

First I would look for voltage drop of both end of battery terminal.not a look or seem tight . you have to do it (voltage drop) and terminal at alternator.
now does alternator charging. take voltage of battery
if the problem occur have voltage of battery taken
like I read your problem it looks like wiring terminal ground and positive
the noise you hear is probably low voltage to a relay and the dropping voltage make the relay switch inside relay cycling noise click or buzz

My P11 1998 Nissan Primera Si 1600 twincam developed a fault one morning. It wouldn't start on the battery, but would bump start. Long story short: bumped the car to start it, and left it running to charge...

I would check the fuses first to make sure you didnt blow any out from all the battery change, jump starting, bump starting etc. Not sure if your battery was dead originally with the fault showing. You may have a bad alternator. Usually when the fault light comes on you can still drive on the battery for a distance, then the battery will drain/die.

Is it my battery?

well this is what you should try ,,jump the car get it running
then when its warmed up take the positive lead of the battery
if the car stops the alternator is gone (thats what charges the battery) if the car runs its fine

and if u have put another new battery in it and the alternator is fine look for any broken wires earths or positives that could be making it drain so quick
and make sure your battery levels are full
hope this helps
