Unless the manufacturer specifically recommends "premium" , regular 87 octane should be all it ever needs. there are some exceptions to this, like if there is an exess ammount of carbon built up in the cylenders and it raises the compression ratio enough or causes "hot spots" in the combustion chamber, this would lead to "pre-ignition" or spark knock and switching to a higher grade of gas would help to calm this down but is a band-aid for the cause of the problem which would be the carbon build up.

They did make a petrol and diesel options for this fan, so figure out which it is.
It doesn't require any sort of plus or premium fuel though.

Hi, the level sensor in the reservoir has failed. Sometimes you can free it up by tapping on it. Otherwise, you may have to replace the reservoir/sensor.

Question about where something is.

The pump is located in the gas tank. You will have to remove the straps holding the tank up; (with tank empty is best) and remove the tank. Be careful not to damage the gasoline lines. You may have to hold the tank up while someone else removes the pump from the top of the tank.
