The check engine light came on my 1998 jeep wrangler. I can not find anything wrong. What could be the reason the check engine light came on?

That is not possible

You haven't done anything

You need to start by studying OBD2
Systems

Then retrieve the codes set when the
check light came on

Then get a Trouble Chart to find the
cause of the Codes

The check engine warning light means there is a problem with the engine computer.
Have you had the computer scanned for trouble codes yet ?

1998 Jeep Wrangler. Airbag light is on and the horn does not work. Have checked, replaced airbag fuses.

You have a bad "clockspring" inside the steering wheel. A bit complex to write it all out and if I forget anything the bag could deploy in your face while changing it out. You can find detailed instructions for that job in both chilton or haynes manuals.

95 jeep wrangler: gauge indicates 0 oil pressure

Wire on oil sending unit may have fallen off or sensor itself may have gone bad. Check both. If engine has no tapping noises, likely it's not a pressure problem.

Go to an autoparts store.
Most of them will pull the trouble codes for free and tell you what they mean. :)

Check engine light on

It could be a vacuum leak somewhere on the engine. Vacuum leak equals more air which now the pcm tries to compensate which will raise the idle. The vacuum leak does not have to be a big one.
