You might want to try new shift selonoids. They are inexpensive and easy to change. Drop the pan on the bottom of the transmission and they are right there. Change the filter also while you are there.

I have a 2004 Cadillac CTS shifting a little hard check engine light is on due to a dirty fuel injector just bought the car it's nice but can anyone help a little?

check engine light is on due to a dirty fuel injector ??? What code ? Shifting hard could be caused by a lot of thing's having it hooked up to a professional type scan tool to check certain sensor inputs to the PCM/TCM would be the first step in a diagnostic trouble shooting process. Cadillac's are a different breed of vehicle then your normal vehicle . If you don't have or know about a professional type scan tool . not the one they use at auto zone .Your best bet , take it to a Cadillac dealer. I have over thirty years experience at a Cadillac dealer . You don't have the knowledge or tools to test it .

How do I fix transmission shift problems in 95 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham.

Fixing a modern (near modern) auto trans is not really a DIY job. I'd take your car to a transmission specialist.

My 92 cadillac deville shift at 30 miles per hour and again at 60 do you think its my transmission speed sensor

its very possible ,that's where tranny gets info to shift all your main gear shifting should be done by 35 mph and after 55 is overdrive the other is if you take it for a drive and manualy shift it out from lowest gear to highest and see how it functions, so you can feel the shifting advance then try it again just in drive only and see if you can feel the gears shift out , have you serviced tranny ? is it a high millage car it is 23 years old ,

2006 Cadillac cts will not start can not take key out shift moves out of park I get code po700

in most vehicles they use a steel wire to connect the turning of the key-ignition with the shifting lever. if this cable is broken or out of adjustment, it could cause a problem like that. just an idea.

1991 Cadillac 409 engine won't shift out of Park

Lets start by checking your brake light switch.
Your car has a switch on the brake pedal that not only makes the brake lights come on, but also tells the transmission it can shift out of park.
This really may be 2 separate switches, but should be under the dashboard and both should "open" when you push the brake pedal down.
Take a good flashlight and look.
The switches are small, about the size of your thumb, and both should have 2 wires attached to them.
Be blessed.

Transmission is not shifting right what can i do

what year model type cadillac.could be many things depend on cadillac model, transmission fluid level could be low, check transmission fluid color on dip stick looks dark brown smell burned, replace transmission fluid and filter, transmission fluid could be old dirty, that will cause shift problems, if you have newer type cadillac have vechicle code scan because you have line pressure solenoid, shift solenoids and BAD TPS SENSOR CAUSE SHIFTING PROBLEMS AND FAULTY VSS SENSOR.take vechicle to transmission shop let them use diagnostic euipment see if they come up with a code, they can also check transmission pump oil pump pressure, if pump leak transmission wont shift right or not at all.

Cannot shift out of park on some occasions

A sensor located at the top of the brake pedel that isn't contacting properly, or is worn excessively. In order to shift gears the car needs to sense that the brake pedel has been depressed. If the sensor is faulty the car won't get the proper signal to allow it to shift. The problem will only get worse as the sensor wears out more.
