it coneaks to the shifter on the steering wheel and goes down to the trans. if u can tape together new one to old one and disconect by shifter and pull old one out as the new one follows behind. conect to shifter and trans adjust as needed and u should b done.
You may have a bad switch (Ford calls it a brake shift interlock not sure the exact term Honda uses) but check all your fuses. Below I gave you a picture and instructions on how to bypass the interlock switch until you can get the repair done or replace the bad fuse. I hope this helps and good luck.
sounds like the lock for it broke either from the button on the shifter or from the pedal its only plastic i would take the shifter cover off and try it then and look at all the peices too see what is not working
Sounds like wiring. The key won't release unless the car is in park. From what I can remember the solenoid that controls the shifter lock is on the same circuit as the horn. Since the fuse was spent I think somthing must be shorting out. Take the centre console out and check for burn and or touching wires by the shifter.
