SOURCE: remove oil pan

Try this, before removing bolts, breaking loose the factory gaskets seals, fighting with cross members and steering joints, some vehicles can never get done correctly unless a professional mechanic with proper tools and educated ways of removing a oil pan. clean it up where the crack is place some paper towel there after draining out all the oil you can, hint-- might need to sit a day with clean paper towel under it making sure its not releasing any more oil out the crack, scrub it with sand paper when its all dry and clean place some "seal all" brand glue over the crack seal all works on oil, grease, gasoline, must be absolutely clean and dry first. after two coats it dries fast then place some paper in third layer to give more stability to the patch. most of the time you will not need to replace the oil pan. if it still leaks get a good book on your vehicle in the public library they give instructions on most all repairs.removal and replacement.

SOURCE: How to remove oil pan?

Junkyard for the pan. Either that or go an import specific shop, they should be able to at least you find one.
I highly doubt that you have to drop the whole engine. You shouldn't have to completely remove the transaxle to pull the oil pan but you probably do have to pull a few bolts.  By the way, if your oil pan is leaking, you can most likely just replace the oil pan gasket unless it is really warped.

Where's the location for the oil pump on 2004 Buick rendezvous?

On almost all vehicles the oil pump is inside of the oil pan at the bottom of the engine. If your oil pump is bad, you will more than likely have to raise the car, loosen or remove the motor mounts, possibly have to remove exhaust pipes, lift the engine a few inches and then remove the 10 or 12 small bolts to drop the oil pan.

We need to replace an oil pan on a 2002 ford windstar. we need to know if the engine has to be removed or not. Can you please answer this for me?

the engine does NOT have to be removed. the proccess is done from underneath the vehicle and requires the removal of the exhaust pipe that runs accross the oil pan. not a very fun job to do in the driveway.

How do you remove the oil pan from a buick rendevous 2002. Have all bolts removed but oil pan is still up. How do you remove so you could take old gasket off and put new one on.

It's not uncommon for the oil pan to get stuck. This usually happens if the gasket was not put on correctly and gunk gummed up the seal, essentially gluing it in place. Use a small nylon, wood or leather covered hammer and tap around edge of pan. (use a lot of light taps to avoid denting the pan). Continue tapping until oil pan comes free. Don't try to pry off as this will deform the pan causing an uncontrollable oil leak.

Oil pan drain plug

The drain plug is on the back side of the aluminum oil pan, your going to have to use a 15 mm socket to remove the oil plug.
Good luck and here is a link to changing the oil for your escape if your have not done it before. http://fordescapefixit.com/oil.html
