Question about 1998 Cadillac DeVille
To drain it you can get a hand held transfer pump at a local auto parts store for pretty cheap.Once you have it drained take off the filler door assembly and take out the screw that holds the bracket that holds the filler pipe to the body.Jack your car up and support it with jack stands.Take the ground cable off of the battery. Now if you can get to the hoses and connectors take the hoses off and disconnect the connectors.Take a transmission jack or something equivalent to that and place it under the tank to support it.Now take the 2 bands that hold the tank in place off.Now when you lower the tank do it very slowly just in case a hose or connector is still attached. To put it back in just do the reverse. Its not to difficult if the tank is empty.
