Hi

It could be door catch solenoid or if it's not as the central locking is not solenoid operated, it is motorised.I would go for the interior light itself, the contacts inside can become bad. The switch inside the light has 2 positions, door switch activated and manually activated. The door open switch works (buzzer works) so by switching over to the other contact inside the light the light comes on. Get the light removed and open it up, then bend the contacts a little so that they touch more positively.
If you switch it over to the manual position before you remove it and take the lid off you will find that the contact is the faulty one.

2002 Grand Caravan. Overhead console lighted switches are not lighting. The Map lights that shine straight down works but none of the others back lights. Side door switch, rear gate switch, garage door...

The first thing that comes to mind is that the dash lights scroll dimmer is scrolled all the way in one direction which manually shuts off all the interior lights, even if a door is opened. At night turn on the parking lamps and then scroll the dash lights dimmer until the dash, radio face, overhead console, etc is brighter. Turn off the headlamp switch. Shut off the engine and exit the vehicle. Interior lights on? Hope this helps.

Courtesy lights don't work

You will need to test the Body Control Module, it controls the lights.
